George
Foreman fought his last fight with Jimmy Young in 1977, in
Puerto Rico. Immediately afterwards he retired from boxing
to devote his life to spreading the word of Jesus Christ.
"Thank You
Jesus" is a live
recording, done on December 17, 1979 and December 18, 1979
that has captured the energy and vitality of former
heavyweight champion, George Foreman,
preaching in the streets of Houston, Texas.
On these two
nights in biting 25 degree weather, one night in a white
neighborhood and one night in a black low income housing
complex, George carried his message to the people.
Foreman
also details the 1977 fight that changed his life forever.
